"St. John’s House is an after school program for the great kids who live in Marcum Terrace. Every day (year round) the families of Marcum Terrace know their children can go and eat a hot meal, do homework, read, play, learn and grow at St. John's House.
St. John's Episcopal Church has been providing this program to children of all faiths, and no faith at Marcum Terrace for 20 years and we're still growing strong.
-- The Rev. Lisa Graves
Rector St. John's Episcopal Church

St. John's House is staffed by our professional program manager and executive director, Jessie Maynard, along with our kitchen manager Alicia Lewis, the Executive Board, St. John's Episcopal Church volunteers, community volunteers, the Housing Authority, Marshall University student volunteers, and our partners in the Huntington police department.
St. John's House is a program that has been provided to the families at Marcum Terrace by St. John's Episcopal Church for over 20 years to children, regardless of religion or lack of. Our mission is after-school care -- not proselytizing.
